Working at an early stage start up and kids? I work at an early stage start up and love my role. However, as I approach my early 30s, having kids is something Ive been thinking about and how to best position myself career-wise for that next chapter. While startup life is exciting, it can also be unpredictable. At the same time, moving to work at a large company that may offer really good mat leave and stability also means entering as middle mgmt which i’m not sure I’d enjoy. What would you do?

I’ve been working as a contract TAS for 6 months in a medical device company. I started part time and as it became busier/my trainer quit, I became full-time. I applied for the TA position through corporate and would like some insight. the company is short staffed and my site specifically does not have good TA retention. For the salary expectation, I put in 85k which is in the range. I’m currently at 64k which is below the minimum of the range. Is this realistic?
