When you have a baby, all your priorities change. You’ll feel feelings you didn’t know existed. You’ll reach high high and low lows and you’ll decide what the next season of your life wants to be. personally I could not do a start-up culture. Running home to daycare/nursery and being off sick when they get their 13 colds a year… You are becoming a mother and that’s an extra job too.
If you want to have a family, I would say go for it. You will have employment rights either way. And if you do have the baby and you’re still in the start up you can always come back to it. chances are you’ll still have your drive and ambition ! Just have the baby first and then see how you feel. you don’t lose your sense of identity, you just grow an extra one.
