Would a practice made up almost entirely of advice and counsel work be a faster pace than employment litigation? And would it be harder to meet hours with a lot of smaller tasks?

Would this also include deal work? If so, easily doable.

Yes

You think 1500 would be doable? I’m looking at a part time position

When I did deal work, I billed a ton. But the big deals only happened once in a while. So maybe one big deal per year and a few larger RIFs was most of my hours. The rest was smaller RIFs, individual terminations, and smaller projects. Deals and RIFs can be faster pace than litigation. There’s also more fire drills because clients will need things the next day. I would ask about the type of work the group does. If there’s no deals then it might be harder.

Conduct investigations too. Hours will easily be met

Currently 16 weeks with an inconsistent bump. Sometimes is noticeable and other times it’s not, anyone experienced this? Currently it went back to almost non existent and am worried

I have ADD and occasionally make small mistakes in my work, like leaving a word missing when editing sentences, small formatting errors or leaving an internal comment in drafts sent to clients. All partners have been very understanding and care about the quality of my work, and no client has ever complained. Partners and clients praise my work.

But now, one partner has become super mad and when I explained ADD, he said:

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you
