Would you switch to a 5x in office role in IR for a large PE (probably 60 hr wks on avg) for a 1.5-2x salary increase? My current role in consulting is flexible (no strict office schedule, maybe 1x a week) and usually 35-40hrs a week, but much slower trajectory and significantly less pay.

Hello, I have accepted an offer at a competitor company and sent in my resignation letter. My start date is 5 weeks from now so I put in my end date 4 weeks from date letter was signed. The manager said I had to leave the job in 2 days and the company can only play 2 weeks of work. Is it normal how they do that?

I am a Strategic Sourcing Manager with 7 YOE in both direct and indirect spend across various industries (Life sciences, IT and Insurance) I have been offered a role with Fidelity for 13 lpa + 1.5 variable. Offer seems better than the national average for similar roles but I feel I would be underpaid based on the current market, my skills and value I will be bringing to the table. Any suggestions for offer negotiations?
