Hahaha I like the line of thinking here though I'm not sure this argument will be more persuasive than the insane amount of savings they will see for getting rid of their sales teams. I think they'll automate sales before they automate something like electrical or plumbing work. White collar jobs will go before most blue collar jobs
I just saw a post in another bowl that there is a website that calculates the risk of your job being replaced by AI and I found that to be very interesting. I do tend to agree with this though. I just think there are some things that AI will never be able to do.
I am viewing this through a tech sales lens, but I unfortunately have come across VERY few reps who I'd consider to be "Masters of Persuasion". AI will probably come for a lot of sales roles in our professional lifetimes.
