We are exploring having a third party come in and assess our I&D efforts across our company. We have many locations across North America. Is anyone aware of an entity who does this? We have found questionnaires through target organizations and have done anonymous employee surveys but are hoping to find someone who can do an assessment for gender, minorities, disabilities, 2SLGBTQ+, etc. and provide feedback on the actual employee experience and where we may have blind spots.

I lead global DEI Advisory for a firm and conduct Talent Management DEI Diagnostics that include 1) a desktop review of current DEI strategies and training 2) metrics on hiring, advancement, and retention by demographic group, along with 3) qualitative research from focus groups and 1:1 interviews, and 4) a Cultural Audit through a proprietary survey instrument to gather employee sentiment. We have US and Canada offices if in-person work is desired.

You CAN be that leader that people want to work with. 1st, self assessment is required. Be honest: As a leader,have you engaged in/accepted Attribution Bias with a dash of gender &/or race bias? (See the pic) This is something we all need to be aware of as we lead our teams, provide performance feedback, & model the behaviors we'd like to see more of on our teams. Be on the lookout for Attribution Bias in yourself & on your team. It's a hindrance to creating a high-performing, inclusive culture.

My agency is opening up applications for a DE&I Committee leader for the first time. This person will be responsible for overhauling how the agency approaches diversity, including employee training, internships, new business model and client communications. What percent of your monthly income shoule go to rent payments?

Hi there, I’d really love some advice from you all. In the last year I had to sell our home in Boulder, CO and embark on a new build process on a home in Tampa, FL. Agreed to serve as local counsel for another attorney in my firm (different office). Answered complaint and then the case fell off the rails. Turns out firm has a conflict of interest that was missed in initial check, client has been instructed to retain a new attorney, court has ordered us to withdraw and client to produce documents by Wednesday. I keep reaching out to the attorney who I am assisting to ask if I can file my withdrawal and for the name of the new attorney and nothing. (Cont.)
