Beginner but recently got the Chase Sapphire Preferred card and it feels kinda lackluster and like I should of tried getting something better.

If a CC’s SUB states you need to spend X amount within 3 or 6 months, if you hit that spend limit before the deadline, do you get the points as soon as you hit or after the 3/6 month deadline?

If I have 60k American Airlines points, and redeem them all on a flight, do I lose the status associated with the airline points?
