For a St. Regis, that’s unacceptable. How many nights was your stay? I’d say ballpark of 10-20k per night if you asked them to fix these issues and there was no resolution.
If you didn’t ask and are just mentioning at checkout… maybe 10-20k total.
No… I had engineering in my room 5 times in 2 days to try to resolve the issue. Outside of sleeping, I think they spent more time in my room then I did.
Head Butler came back to me and said the GM would like to extend a free night during a future stay… I said thanks but not thanks, please have them email me. Going for 2 nights worth of points back or a future stay of at least 3 nights.

I agree... Let me go at them with that offer. If I was paying cash, I would just refuse to pay but unfortunately not much recourse if you’re using points.
Full refund. The AC issue alone at a st Regis is unacceptable
Those are Springhill Suites problems. At the St Regis, they owe you a refund of at least half but agree I would ask for all of it.

Amazing property and the staff was great.
I feel a bit unlucky and judging by the GM’s response they could careless. They essentially tried to blame me for all the issues - AC not working, you should have changed rooms at 10 pm at night with two sleeping kids! Sewage smell because we left an outside vent open, of course it smells we’re on top of a Mangrove! Alarm clock going off in the middle of the night, shit happens! Obviously these are a lot of opening weeks jitters but I expected a much better service recovery from their team and GM. They literally didn’t do anything for me on property even though they were aware of all the problems. I guess paying with points problems 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
