Was in Paris last week and picked up some wine at La Grande Epicerie. I don’t know much about wine, and got a 2015 Chateau Margaux for ~89 euro. Wasn’t until I got home and looked online that these sell for $1500 in the states! Crazy. Hope it’s good!

If you like Right Bank style. This is your jam. Aaron Pott makes incredible wines. He also does Blackbird.

This 2010 was to early to pop. After 3 hours it started to show the depth and complexity. True to form, this is an old world style of wine giving more gritty earthy notes.

2014 Robert Sinskey Commander Zinskey. For having the age and 15.4% ABV it’s held up well and has softened up since the last bottle 2 years ago. This house is known for quality wine.

Big fan of this one. Not super bold. More velvety. Subtle leathery taste, hints of vanilla! I picked up a half case for 120, or $20 a bottle! I may actually buy more. 8/10 for price and taste. Very elegant.
