Omg so happy to find this bowl!!
Hi everyone! I'm looking to apply for a Strategy and Operations Role at Google . They are asking for 3 years of work ex but I only have slightly more than 2 years of work ex in Operations. Would it make sense to still try for it if I only meet the Operations side of requirements and not strategy side?

Nice! Can’t offer any advice. But just wanted to stop by and let you know that you’re in a great place.
Thank you, EY!
JP baby - bet the bonus is hot and you can get anywhere from there. Can’t go from LinkedIn to JP tho
What’s your current role at the firm?
Personally would go with either 1 or 2. In general, tech culture seems to be better for WLB than finance, Microsoft has great stock (I know you don’t want to base on comp but as a long term factor), and parts of LI are growing and innovating quite fast (definitely not all). Congrats, OP!
I have also heard good things about LinkedIn as well. Plus I imagine you can bounce to other tech firms from there pretty easily.

I’m thankful you’re asking for the intangibles rather than straight comp. rule out JP Morgan. That’s the place you work if you want to be both burned out and retired by 32
Just curious - what’s your current role?
They all seem to be in the same realm of work. What is it that you value if not the comp? Exit options? Good manager? Interesting work? Place to grow? Place to coast?
I see.. I feel like you can’t go wrong here. Which part of JPMC is the offer from? Some parts of JP are quite innovative. Also what sector has your prior work ex been in? Because if one of these offers is the better fit for your story then that might be the way to go. I know you narrow your exit options to that sector but you’ve reached the ED level already.. doesn’t seem like you get a whole lot by trying to keep every door open.

No loss on any one tbh. If your goal is WLB, go to LinkedIn. If you want a name to get yourself into PE/VC or those type of ops take JPM. Personally I’m taking LinkedIn and not looking back.
