Jersey city. Anywhere on the midtown direct NJT line.
If your going to be in midtown East you don’t want to live in jersey. Look in Westchester or southern ct. anywhere that gets you to grand central in an hour should be ok.
Look in westchester. Eastchester. Bronxville. Tuckahoe. My Vernon. Scarsdale. Hartsdale. All are around 35-50 minutes max to nyc grand central on metro north. They’re are rentals a lot cheaper than nyc. I live there and commuting to midtown is great.
You can also look at new Rochelle.
I know if a rental that’s great too if you’re looking to move soon depending on what you are looking to spend.
Message me if you need info.
I would say Sunnyside or LIC in Queens. It's 10-20 minutes from midtown east and the apartments are bigger. Sunnyside is really quaint and residential. LIC is busy and has the high rise developments. We have some real gems out here!
Hoboken
I currently live in Texas and already have an hour commute and would like to find someplace outside NYC with a similar commute. Looking to find a house vs living in an apartment or condo.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
