Are you excited by the new role? Don’t run from something, run to something
As a counter to that, I had to get uncomfortable enough to want to leave, and at that point I was ready to take anything. Leaving for an ok job allowed me to de-stress, and open my eyes to opportunities beyond that gap job, and not long after accepting a much better role at IBM.
Nothing is permanent, if you are unhappy, then change is a good thing.
Don’t stick around if you already know this is what you don’t want to do. That’s already a learning for your career journey. It’s diff if you know it’s tough and it’s gonna help your career and you’re just being a wanker about it.
Just be thankful for the xp and that you can now move on to something else new and different for you. And how do you know you won’t like your next opportunity if you haven’t even given it a chance yet?
