Did BCW NY just layoff it’s EA staff?! Seeing a bunch of these names on Connect and very upset that great people were let go!

Throwing this out there. My company was recently acquired and I was laid off yesterday. I’m currently 6m pregnant so looking for a company that isn’t going to have a problem with my giving birth in 3m (looking for a miracle). 13 YOE in Marketing (Brand, Digital, Product, Ops). You name it, I’ve probably done it. Team management exp but not required in next role. Just looking for 100% remote, flexibility, and company that puts families first and won’t give me a hard time about doctor appts 🙏🏻

Wow! What a day! What type of company starts layoffs right before the holidays? Lost my job this morning and I am stressed out. Is there any chance of finding a new job before the holidays? I'm doubting it.

I heard from my head that there is a lot of slowdown in VW Germany... There is Hiring freeze, level freeze and all ... And soon that will spillover to india. I was informed today that my employment would be terminated at a tier-2 consulting firm in Toronto. I get 3-4 requests a week from mutual contacts asking if I can connect with a former colleague (always broad). Typically the ask is a 30-45 min call.
