It’s not too late to pivot into financial services, especially at your age. I pivoted from IT to Private Banking at 30.
Always possible brother. If you want it, its possible. Lots of “older” people make their way into banking. Look at all the MBA associates haha
Hi, I am 25 and heres my experience.
Im in tech consulting currently in grad school for finance. I decided to pursue a part time masters because its cheap vs MBA. I have an interview with a wall street bank in equity soon. So it isnt impossible, but it takes time and finding the right opportunity. But consider the trade-off with time, cost , and opportunity.
where’s the masters from?
I got in at 32… it’s never too late. I work harder than the whole floor (by that I strictly mean the hours). I have to, to make up for lost time. Life is on hold till I feel comfortable (if I ever will)
What is your education and current experience background?
Don’t think bankers will like hearing about day trading. It has very little to do with investment banking and some look down on it. A lot of people in finance would tell you that generating alpha in the public markets is nearly impossible (without insider info) as an individual and its mostly luck when people out perform. Note: profitably day trading when the market is ripping isnt that uncommon. Sorry if this sounds mean, i really wish you the best of luck. It is 100% for you to become a banker if u want it enough
