As someone who lives in Houston. I would say find another state. Also 🖕🏻 A1. Houston is way better than Dallas...
Austin, no competition. I live in Dallas. Skip Houston
1) Austin 2) Dallas don’t bother with Houston
Houston > Dallas all day every day. Source: lived in both.
That said; Austin’s dope
As someone who has lived in 3/4 of these cities:
1. Austin 2. Dallas 3. Houston 4. San Antonio
Been to all 4. Hill country around Austin is amazing.
Waco
Not Houston
Austin for the food and funky culture or San Antonio-stay at the JW hill country, do trips into Pearl and Riverwalk
You can do San Antonio and Austin together! It’s a hour and half drive between. Plus both are awesome!!! (I’m biased since I live in San Antonio) there’s a lot of cool stuff to do
This is my vote too. Just google maps Houston and Dallas 😂
I’d say to stick with one for a three day weekend. Then I’d say choose off what you’re looking for. Historical + great restaurants/bar scenes, and possibly a day trip to natural bridge caverns - San Antonio. City vibes, Houston or Dallas (I live in Dallas and honestly it’s not a very exciting town for visiting, mostly just restaurants and bars). Live music, beautiful outdoor scenery/activities, greatttt food, and a fun bar scene - Austin
Austin
Austin >>> Houston >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dallas
Never been to SA
I love San Antonio when I visited! We went during a good weekend though and had activities to keep us busy.
Austin > Dallas > Houston! :D imo Houston has best food tho

Austin for sure, and day trip to San Antonio.
