In my reports -> My current CTC section. It has details of Current annual & Monthly AGS. My question is what is AGS? It is showing half of my CTC. Should I raise this to HR or it is just something else. And where can we get the actual CTC reflection? Pls help. Thanks in advance.
S&P Global Anyone here work at S&P Global? I’m a project manager who has been with the company for a few years. My position has changed at review time the last few years, so I’ve never gone through the raise process. What percentages have you seen with the company? I’m feeling a bit overworked at this point and don’t want to have my expectations higher than what is reasonable, but also feel like I’ll need a large-ish chunk of cash to feel better about how much I’m working. It is normal right now.
I was in a similar boat many years ago when I had 3 YOE. I moved for higher pay at the time to another firm. It was a lateral move. In the end it was the right move for my career but a setback for my wages in the long term.
Easiest way to get an immediate raise is to switch jobs
I got 1.8% and thought maybe I wasn’t meeting expectations even though I was working my a$$ off.
Turns out they were hoping I quit to get rid of my salary and replace me with someone that’ll take 35% less.
That’s brutal
I hope ours is better since we have allegedly been having a good year and beat our budgeted revenue last year. We shall see though, but last year was 2% for me. I heard the average expected raise across all firms was only going to be around 3.6% and I’d imagine that includes promotion raises and the big 4, which would bring up the average some.
Seems low
Seems normal especially industry
I had my merit increase start back in March, and I received a 3.5% increase.
