So I work as an assistant manager at a restaurant for the past 9 months. I've worked in restaurants for the past 6 years science I was 16. Now I'm 22. I went to a trade school for media and film. I got a dream opportunity to work in the field making about the same or 10% more. I told myself the only reason I'd leave this company is for this type of job. Has anyone completed the Google PM certification? If so, did you find it to be beneficial to your PM career path?
I’m looking to pivot from Finance to Proj Mgmt and currently working through the Google course in order to sit for the CAPM. My only PM experience comes from stepping in on accounts I manage, where there is no PM presence. That means, most of those tasks were related to the budget and scoping, not necessarily execution. Is this enough to land a PM role?

How do you really make money in project management? For instance is tech pm more lucrative than financial services pm? Or is this a path to like product management/strategy fields... new PM here trying to understand career paths :)

We had a final assignment where I had to write up a business charter including time, scope, budget. Also created a WBS and Gantt chart. Since I really have no other PM experience, should I post my assignment to my LinkedIn page? Will recruiters actually see the projects that we post?
