Getting med boarded will make it very tough to get commissioned. They will want a ton of waivers and will take a long time. Keep in mind that you cannot get VA while getting mil pay. What’s the end goal here?
That’s what I thought, I know the only way to get mil pay and VA disability is if you’re retired but you have to be above a certain percentage, I think it’s 50-60% but I could be wrong.
They let you commission with 70% disability? I guess it depends on the sep code on your DD-214 but not entirely sure.
If you’re in the reserves you can, not active duty
