They went with the cheaper option. Consulting isnt about competency it's about what's cheap and fills the minimum requirements

A million reasons why they go with someone else. Keep your head up, you’ve got the next one. It took me ~30 rejections to get 1 yes and boy was it worth the wait
You are using a rifle to apply, buckshot is better. If you ain't applying to 3 opps a day, apply more.
You need to get a Wharton MBA, not professional cert.
If you get a Wharton MBA and end up at PwC something has gone very, very wrong…
The way you described your background gives me a sense that you feel the certs, YOE, and degrees make you a strong candidate. These don’t make someone a strong candidate…it’s the quality of their experiences. I can hire anyone and send them to get PMP and agile certs.
The hiring market is insane right now. Don’t give up! Every consulting firm is hiring like crazy.
You’re not doing anything wrong experience wise, keep applying, though!
