Having to fire the prosecutors you hired repeatedly to forcibly get the indictment you wanted for political reasons is many things but it doesn’t have much to do with the rule of law

Glad that Comey is being held accountable. Him and his weird ass elitist daughter have been terrorizing their political opponents for way too long.

I remember the old days when you just posted nonsense and didn't engage with comments. You've really gone off the deep end since then, huh?

When I opened this, I truly thought the direct opposite of what he or she is referencing happened.

Could we kick this sort of nonsense to a political bowl please? Stop trolling for attention.

Yet again, this post belongs in the politics bowl.

Do you all feel that the Health Insurance choice is actually all the same? The coverage is absolutely copy and paste for Bronze to Platinum and the deductible/copay is very similar.
I just don’t understand why we have the illusion of “choice” if the offer is the same and it is really bad (in our case).
Going from $61 per paycheck for 2.5k deductible 75% copay to $500+ per paycheck with 500 deductible 85% copay.
Other firms have better health insurance?

Advice Request: Started my career litigating. Switched to niche transactions (so about half and half at this point). Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options? I've never worked at another firm.

Transactional junior associate in biglaw. Working for a dedicated practice group rather than in an associate pool. For the past few months, I’ve been loaned to another practice group for a good chunk of time. While the people are decent and the hours aren’t terrible, I detest the work and don’t see a future in this new practice. My main partner says it should end in the next month, but I don’t expect that to happen. Is it a terrible idea to ask to be taken off?
