A recent Korn Ferry report found 9 out of 10 people abandon AI and revert to old methods when results fall short. I’ve noticed the same. Early outputs can be rough, but iteration changes everything. AI isn’t plug-and-play. It’s a process. Are we giving up too quickly instead of learning how to use it effectively?

I think we’re relying on it too much.

Thanks. Do you think people have learned to use AI tools effectively?

I think you have to come to it with a baseline competency/ idea, so you can be precise with prompting. It’s going to be as good and you give it. The more precise you are the shorter the process. If you’re winging it, you probably have more iterations.

I agree. They key to using AI is all in the prompt writing.

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?

Which companies in Canada are giving remote opportunities in the insurance industry?

Hello everyone ,
I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?
