I reached out to a Senior Data Analyst at Barclays for a referral. After referring me, he asked for my number and invited me for coffee date . I politely declined. Later, I was told the referral would be withdrawn. It hurts to think a career opportunity could depend on a personal invitation instead of merit and professionalism.What hurt wasn't losing the referral it was realizing that saying "No" to a coffee date could cost my career

Hi fishes, I am a backend developer , my current CTC is 18 LPA. I am looking for new opportunities , I have 2 offers one was 24 fixed and then i waited for sometime and got 34 LPA (32 fixed). Should I wait more and look for more opportunities or should I join. I don't know how much compensation should I get at 3.2 yoe. Plz suggest.
