A topic I'm seeing debated is in the area of finding DevOps work or staffing those roles. Should "DevOps roles" be a specialty to be hired for, or just additional responsibilities for an existing dev or engineer to take on as-needed?

Should I quit to my current manager(5th so far) or wait after mid year performance review, when a new boss will take over my team? I'm thinking on giving them 2 months notice period. Any advice on renegotiating my salary? I’m a compounding pharmacist and i also float to other stores while also being solely responsible for the compounding pharmacy. I perform MTMs for 6 or so stores and am now a being asked to other projects. I originally signed on to only do compounding and occasionally fill in at other stores when needed.
