Finally left TCS last week and feel the most happiest person ever.TCS was my 4th organisation and I had joined TCS to settle for long term but after 1 year I realised this is the worst organisation one can be with.No first year hike for laterals, no support provided to hard working dedicated employees, only support and leaves are gifted to employees who do nothing and know nothing except dodging work and getting escalations from clients.Forced wfo, forced completion of useless trainings etc.

Try it out and see what happens
Yes if you are on LLP. AFS has different set of rules. But if you are on LLP and for example working on a project for a Nuclear company, your access might be restricted.
Do you know what the rules are at AFS? I’m asking as I’m at AFS and need to go abroad for an extended period of time for marriage license in a different country. I am based in the US (remote work). TIA
So many people do this and just don’t update their time sheet
What do you mean by ‘don’t update their timesheet’? Like don’t update at all? Or don’t update the location?
You can’t try it out because if you get caught you could get fired. Talk to your project leads to see what accommodations they can do, I think there is a policy around it.
You’re a SM and don’t know this?
They may be new to Accenture. Don’t assume.

There is a policy you can work 10
Days or 22 days providing you have work authorization in that country . You need to fill a a form for approval before going .

Correct - I haven’t even started at Accenture. Recently accepted an offer. Had travel plans before accepting the offer. I am unlikely to be accessing any client systems. Obviously will have some client data though on Accenture laptop. Will talk to the team about the “International Remote Working Pilot”
Thanks everyone for your help!
Going on vacation with wife and kids overseas. Tickets and everything cost a lot, so would prefer to spend a month there. I want to take like 1-2 weeks vacation time, and work the other 1-2 weeks. I have the right to work in the country I am traveling to.
Do you access client system/client data for your role? If not honestly I think it’s nbd, but is a big client data security risk otherwise. On my account it’s strictly prohibited to sign into client system outside of the US - would definitely at least ask your PMO if you use client data
A3 is wrong. Talk to People Mobility. That is the only correct answer. International work has tax, visa, and security implications.
Also, there is info inc the list pf countries allowed on portal
You can’t work internationally without the firm asking you to do so. It can put the firm in a tax issue in a country and will likely get you fired. You are effectively lying if you don’t submit accurate location when you submit myte, and you are affirming the accuracy of the location when you click submit. Read the box. So if you get caught, firm needs nothing to fire you because you violated the rules when you submitted time.
I am traveling this week to the Caribbean, I will work from my phone if needed, there is no way I am traveling with laptop internationally, too much risk of loss or damage.
