After about 1.5 years in house, I’m considering jumping back to a firm. I started looking today, and it seems like there are only a few corporate/m&a opportunities in SoFla at the moment (none look great). Is now a bad time to try to jump back in? 2017 grad.

I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented.  I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..
