Anyone who knows anything about big4 know that you’re probably leaving for better WLB. I probably wouldn’t outright say you are burnt out, but asking about WLB is a normal part of the interview process.
I moved from public to private way back in 1982!! I said I had seen several companies, but now I wanted to concentrate on one business and really dig into things.
Its very normal in wlb. Dont be too explicit, but say something along the lines of "it was a good experience, but for the long term I want better wlb"
Mentioning burnout will be a negative. You use a positive instead: you are really excited about xyz at this new place. Most people changing jobs want WLB, just ask questions around it.
