Am I being ghosted? A hiring manager in my network told me about a job he was hiring for, directly invited me to apply, and had a great interview with me. End of interview he said he liked me and I would hear from the recruiter bc he wanted me to meet his counterpart as a next step. I wrote him a follow up/thank you note and waited a week to write the recruiter asking about next steps. They are trying to move fast, he had initially told me. But crickets. Why? Why not even try to “keep me warm”?

I have a undergrad finance degree and 5 years of big 3 credit rating agency work experience, what will help me more to get into a SFA role or product role at a tech company, a T15 MBA or a Georgia tech masters in analytics degree?

Unsure about what to do.. worked as an analyst out of school for $60K 2017-2019. Left after 1yr due to a toxic work environment & to care for my grandpa who had cancer in 2019. Was out of work for 2 years & now have an offer in accounting for the government at $40K. I’ve been lay off this afternoon because low performance, it just two weeks ago I talked to my manager and told her that she’s micromanaging me a lot and I need more autonomy at my work. I didn’t like what they’ve done to me specially I’ve been redundant from the previous role before joining this company. I cannot sleep please any plan’ action and what to answer for the reason why you leave your company? I’ve been in 3 jobs for the last 2 years.

I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support.
