Look at Kansas City (for example)
No one seriously was saying “snow-pocalyse” but there’s a lot of snow hitting a lot of places.
Could be a fair amount of disruption.
Also stands to reason, places further north likely to be hit harder
This is what the chart is showing for Baton Rouge, Louisiana (the yellow “extreme” area) on the chart.
This is for rain in just that yellow extreme area, you can ballpark this to snow by multiplying by 10. It dumped a lot for one hour then was steadily 0.15" the rest of the time.
Unless NYC gets hit in the yellow zone, it’s going to be snowy tomorrow but not at a “snow-pocalypse” level.
Any meteorologists here?
