Amazon vs. consulting? Ended up doing consulting, but did I mess up?

Retail workers: are there any staff shortages where you work? Our store is 5 people short so we are all having to work overtime to make sure shifts are covered. It's exhausting.

I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house. I am also looking to relocate to a different state. How do I go about properly marketing myself to companies that might not take my relocation and minimal experience seriously?

I was promoted to manager in July 2020 (3,5 yr of experience). Currently preparing for YE but honestly, I couldn’t care less - what motivates one to push for SM promotion? Not my case atm, but wanted to hear what motivates ppl to keep going as I don’t feel like it’s worth it.

But UI, never done it before... high fid, design systems etc are all so new to me. This is making me so insecure getting into the new job what if I make a fool of myself?
