I grew up in a nuclear family away from extended relatives who were never really close. Parents were either emotionally unavailable or distant. I know I will get hated by saying this. Do you think gay pride events are portraying a bad image about our community to public? (Drugs, sexual, inappropriate clothes, and sometimes like strip clubs- some parts). I know it is right to present us but I just feel it is not the right way to show who we are.
