Depends on what you do, how long you’ve been doing it for and what the terms are. There’s hourly, daily, weekly and even sometimes project rates. Some agencies have standard rates they pay so you can also ask the agency what rate they’re paying while you start off and get a feel for how much you’d like to charge.
It's basically your annual salary with the zeros knocked off.
For example, if the going salary for someone full-time in your role is 100K a year. Your hourly is $100. Times that by 8 for your daily, which is $800. And times that by 5 for your weekly, so $3500 for the week. And so on..
Keep in mind as a freelancer you're paying for your own EI, medical, benefits, vacation days, etc.

When I was freelancing, my day rate capped at about $1100. Average day rate I’d charge is $900 for long contracts. $950 for shorter ones.
A different story in the US tho.
Appreciate it.
