Any AD that graduated from Brandcenter has a masters degree.
I never even finished my degree and I’ve worked at top shops my entire career (title is not updated here). I’m not sure if degrees really have that much sway on whether or not a creative is, well, creative.
I do! But it hasn’t really helped me in advertising tbh.
Going back to formal school is about setting yourself up to “reboot”. So, you have to think about what you want to do after you get the degree - and is the degree actually going to give you a better chance. In all seriousness, what would you do with a Masters in today’s advertising/graphic design business that you can’t do already? Upskilling is one thing…a commitment to formal academic program is something else. Think hard about the real skills you will grow vs the realistic industry needs & the $$ cost.
Please don’t
Oh, also: I have my Masters.
All VCU Brandcenter alums have master’s degrees
