How much should I charge a friend to watch 4 dogs at their home over Christmas weekend (2 nights)? The dogs don't have any special needs or medications. I've dog sat for other people in the past but always for free. I also have had dogs of my own for most of my life. I want to start charging people for my services but also want to be reasonable since this is a friend and don't plan to charge a holiday fee. We live in St. Louis. Would $40 per day/night be reasonable?

Found myself in a conversation with the branch manager (white male pushing thru his late 60's) about holiday decorations. I just told him how I've been directed by corporate to keep the winter holiday decorations as non denominational and he nearly exploded. Starts saying how Christmas is the "American Way" and "nobody is going to take MY Christmas" and "this is MY BRANCH, I will decorate for CHRISTMAS" and so much more. I'm just flabbergasted, frustrated but not surprised.

Supervisor said I couldn’t have week off for vacation this summer bc another coworker of higher seniority asked off the same week and two people can’t go on vacation at the same time because of staffing. But this coworker that asked off works different shift than me? He works 1st shift I work second. We have a total of 8 workers and no more than 4 work a day. can easily be covered.
