Curious, just accepted offer for entry level swe role (not a comp sci major) and it was well over what I make now and I always hear to negotiate salary but in this case should I have negotiated just to negotiate?

What are some great ways to get into recruiting/ HR? I have some hiring /training experience (never really been in HR just assisted in certain aspects ) but it seems to never be enough to get my foot in the door with companies I’ve applied for. What are some company’s you all know of that are willing to take a chance on someone in my shoes?

What should a coder/biller/transcriptionist make with over 15 years of experience? I am currently the only person in the office that can do those jobs with no backup. I code and bill all office visits for 5 orthopedic providers and all surgical coding/billing for 3 surgeons. I also do any transcription that is needed.

I’ve previously worked for 10 years as a medical assistant in a variety of specialties and primary care. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as to my next step. Part of me want to go into management, another part is saying go get your RN, and the other is saying go into Social Work. I’m all over the place. Any ideas? They said they will back pay us and (we're working much fewer hours) and they were reaching into their personal savings for months before and never took a salary. Was looking to move up in our company but from what I’m understanding, we have to have a degree in management. How would I go about trying to move up in and out of my position without a degree?

I applied for a job within my unit that I do not qualify for. Now, I have an interview for this job. Me knowing I do not meet most of the qualifications for this position has my imposter syndrome thinking I shouldn’t even do this interview because it would be a waste of time. Has anyone felt this way?
