Paris… Without knowing what you and your daughter like, where you are in the world, hard to really give helpful advice

I go to BA yearly, can easily venture to Uruguay for a day, it’s the Paris of SA and still relatively cheap and safe in SoHo
I’m doing a trip with my sister and our 83 YO active mother in the Fall. We are starting in Barcelona, taking the train to Avignon over 3 days, then flying Marsalis to Lisbon and home from Lisbon. It’s 12 days including the travel days. My mother has traveled a lot and about half this trip she has done before but there’s new stuff for her too. My sister and I have not been to any of these places.
I think Chile could be amazing! In a week you could do the beach (Vina Del Mar/Valparaiso), wine country (outside Santiago), and then do 3-4 days in Patagonia
I love Argentina in Feb (Southern like Patagonia) or March is also good for more north.
Oaxaca!!
I haven’t been, but what about Morocco or a trip through the Canadian Rockies? I thought about going to Morocco last yr with my daughter - she’s 30 and I am 60. The preferred riads were booked. We went to Lisbon and Porto instead. It was nice. We are thinking of Machu Picchu next yr. Trying to do a mother daughter trip every other yr.
I hope to still be traveling with my daughter at 83. Have fun. Will follow for ideas.
Mexico City! You have culture, food, quick flights from the US.

Thanks all. Good point that a week in Asia is probably not enough esp with the jet leg that can take days to recover.
I am now leaning towards Cabo, seems like a good combination of beach, good restaurants with entertainment (which my mom loves), a bit of exploring and boat tours. Has anyone been?
