Anyone with insight on Tyson Mendes?
Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

I like the firm, but like any firm it will depend on your office and specific team. So, if you like the people you’ve interviewed with, I say give them a shot. It’s definitely not a sweatshop environment and people are nice (bad behavior isn’t common — I’ve yet to have seen any partners yell or insult any associates).
Is it true NRF does not pay market (Cravath) bonuses?
Not true. It’s Cravath pay AND bonus.
Meh. Not much of a transactional shop these days in the US at least. Abysmal PPP which means they probably won’t ever be a player again as I don’t think they can attract decent talent at the partner ranks
PPP generally isn't a great indicator so long as a firm has market "comp per book" but Norton Rose in participle has a super wide spread of associate comp with probably half the partners in US making under 1mm and a good number are making less than associates. Probably a bit to do with PPP, but not necessarily. Probably not a surprise they are doing barely any corporate partner hiring and it seems most of their hires lately have been in products liability, etc.
Not sure that I want BigLaw partner rank. From an associate perspective, seems like a great opportunity especially for those not in BigLaw before. 1900 bonus eligible billable. Large reputable platform. Everyone seems collegial and nice
I know a couple of people in ECEB in Houston, they generally seem happy and to have a very good WLB. I like the firm and the people, feel free to DM if you have specific questions.
