Any idea how long is H4 extension taking ? My wife’s H4 + EAD + Ssn first time applied together on Aug, still haven’t called for biometrics in Dallas area. Anyone who recently received Extenuon or EAD would comment here to help understand how close are Aug applications, appreciate any info on this one.

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

Anyone who filed PERM in August - September 2020 received approvals?

I’m maxing out the 6th year for H1b and my I-140 just got approved. 1 month ago, my employer has filed a h1b extension but it is based on the approved PERM instead of the 140, and only asked for one-year extension. In that case, after 6 months (180 days i140 rule to avoid employer’s revoke), will I be able to switch employers even though the renewed H1b gonna expire soon at that time?
