Do layoffs actually benefit Indians who remain in the gc line because people who would be ahead in line are being laid off and can’t continue their gc application?

I am H1B and I’ve started my GC process. my husband is also on H1B but won’t get his GC sponsored until his next job. What happens if he has started the GC process but by then his H1B had run out? Can he still work while it’s pending with an application for EAD? Can he work as H4 under my H1B till I get my GC issued?

I'm working in the US under H1B, I got a chance to face an interview for another company. My current company started the PERM application also and results will be out within the next 3 months. Is it okay to transfer my H1B to a new company? Can my H1B transfer be denied? How long will my green card application delay if I move to a new company and start to apply for a green card from scratch?

When an organization is not adequately staffed, be sure increase the number of meetings to address how to allocate people. Forcing negotiations at multiple org levels around the same decisions will ensure everyone is totally aligned.

This accomplishes three things:
1) Everyone is mad at each other since they’re competing for people
2) They’re confused and not able to pay attention to the root issue of chronic under staffing
3) They’re distracted from blaming mgmt for the root cause.

I think my company that I am GC of is a sinking ship, the issue is I have too much equity in the company to jump. I’m trying to save the ship rather than jump overboard I hope it’s the right decision.

How do I get signatories to fill in their company name correctly on a DocuSign PowerForm NDA? Is it a priority in 2022 to outsource or mitigate fiduciary liability in light of the excessive fee lawsuits hitting employers? Would a trustee committee for a 401k plan hire a third party cofiduciary to share that risk? Lastly, what additional compensation should the 5500 signor receive when asked to be the trustee for a retirement plan?

Turns out the stock price at time of my hiring (which is what was used to calculate the number of shares over the three years) was the highest it’s ever been.
