We did Quebec last summer - a couple of days in the city, then a couple of days at a ski resort turned hiking and mountain biking hub a couple of hours north. Not a crazy travel adventure, but Quebec has great history and food, and an amazing waterfall - and the Canadian Shield is underrated for outdoors activities.

I’ll have to look into it, thank you!
Sri Lanka is great. Good variety of beaches, culture etc, good food, affordable, safe.

Off the beaten path: Chad and Gabon, both incredibly beautiful nature and you won’t find lots of other ppl there. DM me if that sounds interesting
You went to Chad? I’ve only heard about how dangerous that place is.
Depends what you’re looking for and whether you’re traveling with kids?
We did 3 months in Portugal with an education program that catered to kids from age 1-12 with our two kids (1 and 5 year old) and it was amazing!
The program we were on was provided by Boundless Life - https://www.boundless.life.
Feel free to DM if you’ve got more questions

I’ve only been to Hoi An, but I was pleasantly surprised! It’s full of tailors, and you will get hassled, but maybe get a suit (I liked Be Li Tailor). Beautiful town with French architecture and a beach! Food is amazing too, and sooo affordable.
