I started QA at the company I am currently at 3 years ago. Long story short, within 4 months at the company, I was able to make a career change and step into a PM position. Without having the formal education or PM experience, only my 5 years in QA experience. When I started I made $65k and have jumped to $78k. I have seen other companies post $100k+. Annual review is tomorrow. Should I fight for more or look for more somewhere else if I lose that fight?

A. >75% iOS users denied tracking. They are no longer tracked across websites/apps. Facebook lost its edge.
B. Targeting and conversion tracking aren't as effective anymore.
C. Many advertisers have been migrating their budgets from Facebook to Apple and Amazon ads.

Interviewing at a startup that is pre-IPO and was told IPO may happen 12-18 months because growth has been incredible. I’ve never worked for a true startup before. Any words of advice? Pros? Cons? PR Groups. Might need to fire ours. They aren’t forward thinking enough for our brand and the reach we want to attain. Small, innovative shops would be nice without a shit ton of overhead. Local not necessary. But overall creative thinkers that aren’t just order takers. Got any good references?
