How does it differ from traditional IT AUDIT? And what’s a fair compensation for this as Senior w/ 1 year exp

Are there any fundamental differences between a salary negotiation during the start (applying for the job) vs. Salary negotiation during a performance review (you’ve been employed for x time and looking for a raise). I’m in the latter and wondering if there are any maneuvers that are different I should be doing.

I have a small creative agency that I have built over the last 4 years. It’s been a rollercoaster when it comes to revenue, making it hard to predict finances & pay myself consistently. This year has been particularly financially stressful.

The thought of closing hurts my heart and my pride and can feel like wasted time. But financial stability vs time freedom is rough.

I also recently got a full-time job offer for $200k base with excellent benefits. It’s tempting. What would you do?

I have 2.5 yrs of experience as an account manager in a top IT staffing firm and am curious about what the avg total comp is for my level. I am at a base of $65k and made approx 8k in commission last year . Seems low compared to what management says can be made at staffing firms.. Thoughts?

Hi fishes i gave an interview on 3rd Nov for .net developer role with 1.5 YOE, still I haven't got any response from team TCS side.

So im starting to lead meetings with clients but I always find myself going back and forth with the client trying to get more information following the initial WT which I feel is annoying . Is this normal or do I need to do a better job of writing out questions and agendas prior to the meeting.

So I was offered a role in Strategy Consulting in after 2 years in Risk Consulting however, after 2 years I’ve only worked on Internal audit engagements few ad hocs such as updating risk register and the delegation of authority matrix.

Honestly speaking I am doing good and I am up for promotion in October however I am not fully enjoying my time but I fear that the move would not be a good and I can’t hit the ground running which scares me.
