Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

Would anyone be willing to teach me vlookup?

We get $250 every two years (but killer discounts) on phones and accessories. If you're in a pinch you can usually expense stuff. The firm pays the monthly charge.
I've got 37 days saved up right now. Plus 11 weeks unused paternity leave. It's real.
Deloitte 🐠 have 5 weeks, 6 weeks manager + in the US plus 12 holidays typically.
@DD1 that's brutal to hear. I'm shocked by the perks at Deloitte. I heard you guys have full reimbursement for cellphone bills, better fitness budget, tech allowance, full time study tuition reimbursement. These are much worse at EY.
Even US-based analysts fresh out of college start with 5 weeks vacation not including holidays at Deloitte
Yes + Bank Holidays
🙋♂️
That was my point OP. The Deloitte US firm gets European vacation, better benefits, and makes more money - typically way more. I said US in my prior post.
We can spend £180/year on a phone and the bill comes onto a corporate account with Vodaphone or O2. We expense the cost of the phone on our AmEx in DTE. I'm assuming there's a similar set up for the Americans. We can expense chargers and whatnot if it's under 30 quid.
I'm not trolling... I can't believe this
Dutchy here
Cheers!
Is it true that you guys have 5 weeks of vacation per year?
@DD1 seriously??? We have only 3 weeks/+2 weeks for managers and I used to think that's a lot.
@D2 cheers! Where from? London here.
EY1, seriously. Plus we make US salaries.
@DD1- See I've heard differently- I'm told those converting to the UK firm from the US firm don't make as much as they did in the states for the same job. Are you saying that's not the case?
In the states you aren't comped for your mobiles? Nonsense. I'd never stand for it .
We're capped at $60 per month and buy our devices on our own.
That's EY OP, we get free phones at D lol
Wtf.... This is mind blowing. Please don't tell me you guys get iPhones
I think EY1 is trolling us now.
