Ikea

I have a bad back and I tried a few of expensive ones and none of them quite did it - ultimately I was blown away by the cheapest option and that it was staring me in the face. IKEA! For my personal need and fit it's worked out great - it's not as hard as a Coir mattress from India but the closest out of all the other ones I tried

Has anyone tried to get a mattress shipped from India ?

Try. Plank mattress, i love it.
Ikea mattress is firm for sure but was not comfortable for me. Plank hit the spot…. I also loved old tuft and needle model which had good bounce in it

No - regular.
We love Zinus support plus 10” tight top hybrid mattress at Walmart. I also bought a cotton filled Japanese mattress that I use on the floor.
Surprising to see Ikea recommendations. I have generally found their stuff to be of low quality. I spent around 3k on a king mattress 10yrs back. Still works like a charm. Just go with max coil (for longevity) and the firmness you feel on day1 will stay forever. I bought it from one of the specialist mattress firms

I used to love tuft and needle for the bounce but the new version is little too soft for me… i have tuft snd needle back from 2016 timeframe and it is still awesome…. Plank is the latest i got and love it. Firmest memory foam
