Could you do more like $3,300 for a 2 bedroom? I used to live at Torrey Gardens and loved it. I know at least one of the schools near by is excellent. I am a young professional but a ton of families live in that community and around the area
Very valuable suggestion. My sincere thanks to you.
I think the real question is what do you consider affordable…we pay 7k and seems somewhat reasonable considering we’re coming from SF

I’d look into the Torrey Hills area (near Sorrento Valley, Carmel Valley and Del Mar.
We used to live in Torrey Hills. Its very affordable and a nice place to live. I would highly recommend it.

Point Loma public schools aren’t too bad
Yes. +1 for Point Loma. Great neighborhood.
Thank you, that is true! What would be affordable with a household income of 150k? Maybe that is not even making sense in terms of affordability. In short, I am looking for a 2 bed apartment in the range of 2k -3k in a neighborhood with good schools.
That really depends on your budget. Cost of living and housing is very expensive in the state. I believe you have enough but to decide which neighborhood then you must consider first for how much are you willing to spend for the budget.
Check out Santee, la mesa, fletcher hills, and San Carlos. San Carlos probably has the best schools but will be the most expensive out of these options.
Thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
Thank you, again! I would be able to afford that. My major concern is to identify a great school district for my children.
