Everyone complains about high healthcare costs in the US. I understand that it’s a complex problem including drug prices, insurances etc. But no one talks about the high physician salaries. Why do surgeons make near a million in the US while they make $250K in Canada?

Skill - IT Security Consultant (AWS Security, CISSP certified)

Currently in negotiation with Wipro, Deloitte and Crompton
All 3 have given a strict budget of 30-31LPA

I need help on 2 things
-Which co. has better growth in term of WLB, Skills, salary hike?
-As per my exp., what should be the best negotiation?

IBM- 20.35 LPA (Total fixed) and 50 k joining bonus.

Yoe- 7.3 years. Technology- IICS.informatica power center.
Which one to join considering-

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?

Hi All, Just finished the process with Alix tech & Digital practice (VP) and A&M PEPI (SA) and got an offer from Alix and waiting for the salary details from A&M. I wanted to know your thoughts regarding the salary expectations for A&M (Their HR didn’t flinch when I asked a salary +15K more than Alix in base)? Do you think they can offer that in PEPI ? My manager continues to ask me to help other teams and do work on other billable projects. I’m sick of it .. and I’m going to explicitly say that no I can’t do it because my hours are taken by the existing project we are doing. Is this appropriate?

There is a partner that, without fail, calls on Fridays after 6pm anytime I am staffed with him. It’s extremely frustrating since his calls are usually non-urgent and I make it a point to check in early in the day to address anything. Any advice?

I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

Do you all think I will be rejected?

How do you calculate IRR for a write off? Is it just 0% or should it go negative? There’s no cash moving after the initial investment so not sure what to do.

If I am searching for an external audit position as a senior associate in public accounting particularly in the healthcare industry what is a competitive wage?
