Did the payroll tax laws change based on all the people working remotely?

Been in biz dev/inside sales for ~3 years. Looking to make a career change to less customer facing roles. Seems like I’m not qualified for anything else. Any recommendations on other career routes?
Throwing myself out there… is anyone on here looking to fill a SaaS BDR/SDR role? I don’t have direct experience in SaaS but I have worked in the tech space as a Business Analyst. I also have 5 years in sales/operations for a manufacturing startup. I am looking to break into SaaS Sales and start from the bottom. I am goal oriented and love a good challenge. I appreciate any leads or information anyone could pass my way. I am located in the North East (Southern Maine).
I am a fresher who recently got graduated in the lockdown. I got graduated in the field of Human Resource and Leadership. I have my 90 day review coming up and I’m unsure if my wage is going to be reviewed and increased. If my manager doesn’t bring it up and I think I’m worthy, how should I approach asking for a raise. As a bit of history I was told at my interview that wage is reevaluated at 90 days, 6 months, and annually.
Has anyone transitioned from direct sales to indirect (channel, solutions consulting, etc.)? I’m an Enterprise AM currently (6+ years of total closing experience in SaaS) but looking to make a change sometime in the next 18-24 months. Certainly expecting to sacrifice financial upside but growing tired of the grind.
Where’s the line between giving your leaders the benefit of the doubt vs this pattern is pretty dang toxic? I don’t want to leave but I’m so exhausted by the gate-keeping, the self-interest of leaders lacking any kind of employee first mentality, and the lip service of “we want to make this the best place to work.” I’m being told I’m under-utilized but when I try to bring more to the table, I’m either given empty promises or immediately dismissed. - I’m severely burnt out on trust-fails.
Any tips for career progression for a tech recruiter? I have 2 years of experience working for a recruitment agency for capital markets + some account management. Thinking of internal recruiter roles at startups or customer success management. Live in NYC but really want to relocate to a smaller city. Any tips from recruiters or CSMs?
We all have introspective moments that we question our fit in consulting- and either re-energize or start looking elsewhere.

I need an objective sounding board. I might be in the wrong on this but I don’t know if I overreacted. - A friend reached out to ask if she could stay with me over the weekend (she is in the process of looking for a new place/has been staying with diff friends). I said ok but I will be out of town from Saturday to Monday but she is welcome to crash if she needs a place to stay. When she came on Friday, she asked if she could stay until Tuesday (contd in comments)
