It is a phenomenon observed when a candidate frequently jumps job in order to have a market correction to his salary.
Say person A got settled in his job for 5 years and his current salary is 7lpa..He joined at 4 lpa.
Now for his experience, he can be paid upto 30 lpa for the role.
So after switching for 13 lpa.. He keeps job hopping from 13-19 and 19-28 within a year where he finally feels he is paid adequately.

How can I turn around a bad impression at work?

This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.
