Best practice for a sourcing strategy is to use 4 tiers for example if it’s a retail company you are hiring for
1- direct competitors industry specific - same size or revenue
2- other retailers that are direct in alignment may be larger in size and revenue
3- retailers in general (different industries)
4- best athletes (manufacturing companies/CPG companies, etc)
Prioritize ring 1 and 2 usually candidates are from there and then divide it by geographical location if role is in person
Can help better if you provide any classification on industry or function you are making the sprucing strategy for
So then
1- companies that specifically do Freight forwarding simply google freight forwarding service all those that offer it will certainly come up
2- transportation
3- logistics (recommendation)
4- service industries in general
look at transportation association they’ll have some options too
Once you get your ideal profile look backward where did they come from? And you can start building a strategy from then onwards
