Time taken to become a partner in any of Big 4's?

As per my knowledge in EY it is 15 to 20 YOE

Left big 4 after 14 months to move in IB and am currently 11 months into IB. Getting crushed and looking to leave (100hr weeks for last 3 months). Would this be a mistake in that I’d be a job hopper? Or is it understandable considering those are both jobs where people only stay 1-2 years.

Looking for some advice to crack non tech roles at Google, coming from consulting (big 4), eCommerce and agency background 10yrs of exp. never been able to get a call from recruiter despite referrals.

Got an offer from b4 for a lateral move. The offer was only 7% more than my base with no sign on bonus. I told the recruiter I thought the base was a little low because we have salary raises and bonuses coming eff July and am on target for 10% raise and 10% bonus. What should my counter offer be?
I was thinking a 15% salary raise and a 7% sign on bonus would be fair?

I’ve always been surprised to see so many fishies from Big 4 consulting firms here. Anyone work in search marketing (SEM/SEO) or digital marketing for these firms? Interested in learning more about how I could transition to the consultant role.

Anyone have experience in both Big 4 (e.g., ITS or M&A) and Big Law (tax)? What drove you to make the change from one to the other? What are the pros and cons of Big Law (other than comp)?

Anyone left big 4 for mid sized firm ? Will they let you go in the day you resign ?

If you are/were a cloud consultant at big 4, can you tell me more about the role? Specifically, 1. How long does a project take from starting to finish? 2. If u exited, where did u exit? 3. Is there a higher chance exiting to FAANG/tech startup as a cloud/tech consultant compared to startegy/management consultant?

What sectors in consulting make the best money?

Is it worth for a practicing Chartered Accountant from India to relocate to Canada and find a Job there in some Big 4 or a finance company? As the practice here in tier 3 city in India doesn't seem to grow at that pase

Does anyone have experience with M&A PMI interviews? Got an interview and was asked to prepare a presentation on their existing M&As and how to synergise them.
Is this a normal interview format or a red flag? I don't have much experience as I've only been in B4, and people have told me to expect only case interviews and PEIs

I have two years of internal audit experience in a 500 company and I am relocating to a financial analyst role within the company. However, I think I still need the public accounting experience in big4 to get a long-term competency. I want to apply big 4 staff auditor after I pass the rest two CPA exams. I know I can’t get the experienced auditor position since I don’t have public accounting experience. I had my master in accounting. Will I be qualified for the entry level auditor in big4?

Left B4 to join boutique shop & struggling with sales.

Even contacts I've known for decades who trust me are hesitant about bringing a new firm in. With new accounts B4 biz card used to get meetings easily now I struggle to get into places I previously would have gotten in with one email.

Any advice on how to build business with a firm that is not well known? I will add that once we are in, we do very well because the firm does very strong work and is loved by clients.

Can anyone pls share the Slary band for big 4's in India, for AM and M level for direct tax.

Currently working in auditing and want to switch to consulting. Worked with PwC too (so 2 out of big 4) but my school is not a target for any consulting firms out there.

I found the article interesting, but after re posting it I was thinking to myself how does this apply to me as a job seeker looking for a consulting position. Should I be re posting articles from companies such as the Big 4 and other analytics companies?

Would love to get an opinion on this - currently working as a pre sales consultant, making ~220 working ~30 hrs a week. Thinking about doing the networking and moving into B4/MBB Tech Consulting.
