Not sure if it's still the case, but the requirement to have the tool live in a Salesforce production org is absolute garbage design. Other than that it's a great tool. Dev ops is huge and I've seen it ruin many a project if not implemented properly.
SM1 is correct.
https://www.copado.com/learning/training/ they offer free learning modules and certs so you can learn at your own pace. It’s a desirable skill to have.
Yeah
Yes, it’s great
Are you looking at Copado as a product or a prospective employer? If you’re interested in them as an employer, be advised that the vast majority of AEs did not hit quota last year and the sales organization has just undergone a major reorg.
There are multiple products. The one you’re referencing is the Salesforce DevOps solution which has strong market fit but a limited market (think the top 1000 SF customers). The revenue strategy is to expand into multi-cloud and test automation. The testing product is doing pretty well, but multi-cloud is a slow go.
Most AEs have struggled because the quotas were aggressive, accounts are switched up frequently, and the buyer is very technical. If you have previous sales experience in the SF ecosystem and speak developer, you may be a fit, but otherwise, the learning curve will be incredibly steep.
