I know this is subjective but what are some of the easiest/toughest SF certifications to get?

Hardest by stack:
— Application Architect: Sharing and Visibility
— System Architect: Identity
— Consultant: Service Cloud (it is quite thorough and a departure from the typical CRM core covered in Sales)
— Admin/Developer: PD2 (if you are trying to BS your way through it, but it’s ok if you have done any fair share of coding)
— Marketing: both consultant certs are challenging enough, but not unreasonable
— Honorable (?) mention: CPQ

Not considered in the analysis: niche certs like marketing or commerce developer.

How’s you prep? Just trailheads?

easiest - platform builder, hardest - IAM

like

IAM was tough than Integration

IAM hardest. PD2 was also hard. Admin and app builder are the easiest for sure.

like

Pd1 was hardest for me as a non-dev. Sharing and visibility designer was easiest for me

Sure K1, Thank you!!

I think the sales/service
/marketing cloud ones are the hardest, because they are certs about how SF supports a particular process, with all they "quirks and features", they are the least "logic", SF choose to implement forecasting/knowledge/entitlements in a specific way and you have to know that exact way, without knowing the "why", because there is no "why". More platform related certs are more logical in my experience, more in line with general IT related stuff

Heroku was the most difficult one for me

@KPMG, are you working in KPMG Global bangalore Salesforce Practice?

@ KPMG 2 true that! Any idea you can give me on what sort of hikes they give and bonus?
Also do they have onsite opportunities or possible opportunities can come up?

no cert for billing, but the billing superbadges are super hard

cpq is a tough cert

CPQ certification is CPQ specialist certification right? I haven’t seen Industries CPQ Developer certification discussed much here.

Has anyone ever posted a general marketing position? We have an open position on our marketing team but we are unsure what type of position to offer. We have a wide variety of needs but don’t necessarily need to have this future person have all these skills. For example we need someone with great copywriting skills and also need someone who is great at digital marketing. This person doesn’t necessarily need to have both skills but if they did great, but if only one, great too.

Currently senior consultant with 3.5 years work ex + Masters in IE. Google is offering Program Manager role but at L3. The base will be almost the same as current (120k) but the upside is equity. (+70k year 1) Really confused on whether I should be taking this? It feels like a huge step down and starting all over again at the same level as fresh grads. Was expecting L4 but lost out due to interview feedback. The role would also require me moving cross country (East coast to the Bay)

Please help! I'm looking for writing terminology. At our agency, we are getting more into creative writing vs ... executional writing? Please help me find the right term. Creative means developing the big idea (concepting), writing scripts and headlines with flair, etc.) for an awareness "hook" and then the other camp, which includes brochures, one pagers, banner ads, sales sheets.

What should we call the other type of writing? (Cont in comments)
